Ernest Rutherford, 1st Baron Rutherford of Nelson, OM, FRS[2] HFRSE LLD (30 August 1871 – 19 October 1937) was a New Zealand-born British physicist who came to be known as the father of nuclear physics.

Dick Frizzell, MNZM (born Richard John Frizzell, 1943) is a New Zealand artist based in Hawke's Bay. Frizzell's work is best described as pop (Warwick Brown) in its appropriation of kitsch kiwiana icons and incorporation of them into his often cartoon-like paintings and lithographs.
