The Gallery is located in the city’s cultural precinct and commercial heart. It is within walking distance of Wellington's Railway Station and bus interchange and numerous bus routes along Lambton Quay as well as Te Papa, Wellington Museum and City Gallery.

Parking is available on the waterfront off Customhouse Quay.
